LA MADONNA
I was a very religious child talking to the statue of Mother Mary in the small chapel. She did not exactly talk back to me but she beamed the light of compassion, love and deep acceptance. I remember waking up with panic at night as the small child I was and seeing flashes of la Madonna. She was so big, larger than life, she was more than human she was The Goddess and I felt embraced by her, always.
