The Secret of the Sibyls
The meaning of the word ‘Vatican’: Diving Serpent. Derived from Vatis = Diviner and Can = Serpent. Vatican City and St. Peter’s Basilica were built on the ancient pagan site called in Latin vaticanus mons or vaticanus colli, which means hills or mountain of prophecy.”
Hebrew Definition: 1. (vatis, vates) a seer, prophet, soothsayer, diviner, divination. 2. Soothsayer: to act covertly, to use arts ie. magic, to practice sorceries, mysteries. 3. Diviner means: witchcraft, tell fortunes, bewitch, to consult to a spiirt of the dead, to practice magic.

Our Guiding Stars: Casseiopeia & Cygnus Constellations
A 45 min hike from our retreat location in Nemi takes us to a secret place. Discovered by our very own local archaeologist the mysterious fairy-mounds could be associated to an ancient Dea Madre religion that could go as far back as 9,000 BC. And by synchronicty sake visible in the night sky during our retreat time are indeed the butterly symbol stars the very ones… Casseiopeia! Arco di Diana researcher Daniele Cataldi writes about the Dea Madre religion, the mysterious fairy-mounds and the Casseiopeia constellation in his book “Tombe Grotticelle Indagine Anacronistica.” Image below shows the constellations visible to the naked eye from our location in October.
